Kroger Gift Card Information
The Kroger RECHARGEABLE GIFT CARD PROGRAM is a fast and convenient way to earn Tuition Credits! The Rechargeable Gift Card MUST be purchased through the Powers SCRIP Program, but can be recharged through your local Kroger store. You do NOT need to purchase multiple cards. One card will do it all!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Kroger Gift Cards are purchased through the Powers SCRIP Program.
- Only one card needs to be purchased per family (unless families need more than one card for family members and friends) and can be continuously recharged as needed.
- The initial card will be available in a $ 5.00 denomination and will need to be recharged at a Kroger Store.
- The rebate is 5% of all purchases and recharges, which will continue to be applied to your SCRIP tuition account.
- You can recharge your card with cash, check or credit card.
- Gift cards may be recharged for up to $ 500.00 at the Customer Service Desk and any lesser amounts at the individual registers.
- If you are planning on using your card to pay for your grocery order, it must be recharged and paid for prior to being used as payment for the groceries. You must tell the cashier that you wish to recharge the gift card BEFORE the groceries are rung. If the gift card is recharged within the grocery order, it cannot be used to pay for that grocery order. The gift card must be recharged as a separate transaction.
- The gift cards are accepted at all Kroger Stores throughout the US and can be sent to family and friends out of state. Your family and friends out of the area will be able to help your family offset tuition as long as they continue to recharge the card you have sent them from the Powers SCRIP Program.
- In order for the Kroger Gift Card to be linked to the Powers SCRIP Program it must be purchased through Powers. If you purchase a card at Krogers it will not be linked to SCRIP and you will not receive tuition credits.
- If your card is lost or stolen please contact the Powers SCRIP Committee with the card number. If you don’t have the card number we should be able to look up your card number and contact Kroger. Kroger can check to see if there is any value left on the card. If there are monies left on the card, Kroger can devalue your lost or stolen card and place those monies on a new card, which you will have to get through the Powers SCRIP Program.
- You will always be able to find the balance on your card by looking at the bottom of your latest cash register receipt or by calling the number on the back of your card.
- If your card becomes depleted, make sure you recharge it! Any card with a $ 0.00 balance for more than 90 days will become deactivated and taken out of the Powers SCRIP Program. At that time the card cannot be recharged for our organization. A new card will need to be purchased through the Powers SCRIP Program in order to begin receiving tuition credits.
- Please read the back of the gift card for further information.
We Hope The Kroger Gift Card Makes It More Convenient For You To Shop! It Continues To Be A Fantastic Way To Support Powers Catholic High School and Earn Tuition Credits All At The Same Time!
