Magnus Sodalitas:
Magnus Sodalitas, or “Great Society,” taking John Paul the Great as our patron, is a group of Powers students who meet twice a month to discuss theology in greater depth. We usually meet in one of a variety of local coffee shops/restaurants for breakfast on a given Saturday morning and then spend an hour or so in heated debate about some theological topic. Any Powers Catholic student is welcome to attend. Check out the web site for details.

St. Gerard Society:
The St. Gerard Society is student-led pro-life group at Powers Catholic. We meet at least monthly to discuss issues regarding life and the Church’s teaching
on it. We als

We are also pleased to have Fr. Tim Nelson, M.D. (and pastor at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Flint) as our group chaplain. Check out the web site for more details.
